Notice Regarding the Availability of Crypto-Asset Services Under MiCA

In accordance with the transitional provisions of the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), entities that were previously registered as Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) under the national AML framework were permitted to continue operating during a transitional period while their application for authorization as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) under MiCA was being prepared and submitted.

This transitional period for EDP TECHNOLOGIES expired on 30 June 2026. As our CASP license application has not yet been granted as of this date, we are required by law to cease providing crypto-asset services with effect from 30 June 2026, and to proceed with an orderly wind-down of these activities, in full compliance with MiCA and the relevant statements issued by ESMA and the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC).

What this means for you

From 30 June 2026, EDP TECHNOLOGIES will no longer be able to:

What you need to do

1. Review your account and holdings

Log in to your account and review any open positions, balances, or pending instructions before 30 June 2026.

2. Settle any open transactions

Please ensure any pending orders or transactions are completed or cancelled before the deadline, as any orders still open as of 30 June 2026 will be automatically closed and we will be unable to process new instructions after that date.

3. Withdraw, convert, or transfer your assets before 30 June 2026, if possible

Until this date, you may withdraw your crypto-assets or fiat balances, sell or convert your crypto-assets to close your position, or transfer your crypto-assets to a MiCA-authorised CASP or to a self-hosted wallet. We strongly encourage you to complete this process now, while standard platform access is still available.

If you still hold a balance after 30 June 2026, you will still be able to withdraw it.

Our contractual relationship with you as a client will terminate on 30 June 2026. From that date, any withdrawal of residual crypto-assets or funds must be initiated by contacting our Compliance team and successfully completing a full identity re-verification (KYC) process, as your prior client status will no longer apply.

Withdrawals at that stage will be executed by us, following your formal instruction, and only to an account or wallet of which you, the user, are the verified beneficiary/beneficial owner — we are unable to process withdrawals to third-party accounts or wallets under any circumstances.

Withdrawals must cover the full balance held on your account; partial withdrawals will not be possible. Custody of any remaining assets will be maintained only for the period strictly necessary to complete your exit, and in any event no later than 31 December 2026.

4. Your balances and transaction history remain accessible

You will continue to have read-only access to your account balances and transaction history through our platform during the wind-down period. This is not a regulated crypto-asset service under MiCA, as it involves no active management, transfer, or disposal of crypto-assets. It also reflects your right of access to your personal data under Article 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which remains unaffected by the cessation of our crypto-asset services. We nonetheless recommend downloading any statements or records you may need for your own purposes.

5. Watch for further communication

We will notify you separately regarding the status of our MiCA CASP application and any resumption of services once authorization is obtained from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC).

Our commitment to you

This measure is being taken strictly to ensure full compliance with MiCA and applicable Greek and EU regulatory requirements. Client asset safeguarding remains our priority throughout this transition, and our wind-down arrangements have been designed in line with our regulatory obligations to protect client assets and ensure an orderly cessation of services.
